Wee chart
The average person loses about 2.4 litres of water a day through perspiration and urination, as well as in exhaled air. Use the wee chart to check if you are drinking enough water.

Find out how much water your class drinks by using the tally sheet.
Check to see if there are days when more water is consumed, such as sport days or when the temperature is high.

Hydration diary
Keep track of how much water you drink throughout the day.
Discuss the importance of water for the body to function properly including carrying nutrients in and taking waste out of the body. Water also helps to digest food, to sweat and control body temperature, keep muscles and bones flexible and lubricate the eyes.
